Digital Workshop – Church Community Transformation
The workshop will contain Bible studies and some interactive exercises, and the goal is to present a program/process called the Church and Community Mobilisation Process (CCMP) or Church Community Transformation (CCT).
This is how Tearfund describes its method and work:
We believe that local churches – wherever they are in the world – begin a lifelong journey as they embrace and commit to living out a theology we call “integrated mission.” This journey strengthens them, changes mindsets, and brings a holistic transformation in church and society. The ultimate goal of this journey is to see broken relationships with God, fellow human beings and, creation restored. The Church strives for change “for life” and can respond broadly to the local community’s needs. When people realise their potential and discover the gifts that God has given them, they can overcome poverty from their holistic perspective. The goal of this journey is called “church and community transformation” (CCT).
Since 2023, SAM has initiated CCT/CCMP through its sister churches in southern Africa and the enthusiasm is very high among church leaders in Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Malawi and others.
